Mr. Richard Hamann, founder of Hamann Motorsports, was well known by luxury automakers as a man who had a passion for retuning BMW autos. When he passed away recently, Hamann's fellow performance perfectionists at Hamann Motorsports, were naturally grief stricken by his death. But, in his honor, they haven't taken much pause, either.  After all, it was Hamann's last wish that his team and ultimately the company, in which he invested so much time and energy, continue business as usual.

Well, that is exactly what they've done. Recently at the motor show in Hamann Motorsport showcased the company's first tuning package for the BMW 6-Series Convertible - a tribute to Hamann's genius and deep passion for the BMW brand. We dare say, Hamann would be quite proud.

From a performance perspective, the BMW 6-Series Convertible is juiced up with a sport exhaust system, featuring four stainless steel tailpipes and an ECU upgrade. These changes boost total power output to 510 horsepower (hp). That's 110 hp more than the standard BMW 6-Series 4.4-liter V8 promises alone!
