Our dealers are happy to explain how the xDrive system works, as well as go over our line of BMW SUVs.

What Is BMW xDrive?

The BMW xDrive system has two main purposes: it improves your safety by maximizing your car’s traction on the road surface, and it also enhances your driving dynamics and provides added stability when rounding curves. While the xDrive system is active 100 percent of the time, it only activates when it detects potential hazards due to poor road surfaces that cause uneven grip.
