2024 BMW 5 Series: What We Know So Far

When will the 2024 BMW 5 Series Be Released?

Though there is not a specific release date set for the 2024 BMW 5 Series yet, industry insiders expect the sedan to hit dealership lots before the end of 2023. For now, BMW of Northwest Arkansas has a few different variants of the powerful and versatile 2023 version of the sedan.

New Features Planned for the 2024 Model

One of the largest changes expected for the 2024 BMW 5 Series is the addition of an all-electric i5 variant, which is in line with the automaker’s commitment to going green with its BMW i models. An additional variant of the 2024 BMW 5 Series will be the performance-oriented BMW M5 sports sedan.

For the 2024 version, the BMW 5 Series will be offered in both 530i and 540i trim levels. The former will pack a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and either rear- or all-wheel-drive. The latter trim includes a turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine that cranks out 375 horsepower.

Technology-wise, one highly anticipated feature is AirConsole, which is a video game system that can only be used when the car is parked.
